This report aims to evaluate the current landscape of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in India, specifically within the Private Equity and Venture Capital (PE/VC) sector. The study will analyze the representation of diverse groups identifying key areas of progress and challenges that remain with an aim to recommend a way forward with key opportunities for improvement.

A core component of this research is to find out perspectives on DEI, focusing on:

• Representation and participation of women in PEVC sector as investors and entrepreneurs
• Changes and progress seen in recent years
• Barriers and challenges that hinder diversity in the sector

By gathering insights through structured questionnaires, this report will highlight progress, existing gaps, best practices, and recommendations to foster a more inclusive investment ecosystem in India.
